My background is in product development, business and strategy analysis, and project management. My goal is to assist organizations in applying measurable processes to support their member’s mental health. I believe that when organizations utilize proactive strategies with their mental health resources they will not only increase the overall wellbeing of their members, they will increase their organization’s bottom line. My pivotal career moments: In 2000: I developed a Group Home Youth at Risk Management Model for individuals in Ontario who live in group home settings. I specifically worked with youth at risk and individuals living with intellectual disabilities. This work inspired a unique opportunity to create a software program to help these youth. In 2012: I was invited to speak at the International Autism Conference as a keynote speaker to introduce this newly developed software. I was honoured to receive the Medical Research Award. Later in 2012: my experience with software inspired the founding of Qwantech Inc., of which I am the Co-Founder and Product Developer. My accomplishments include providing software development analyst solutions for Health and Safety Ticketing Systems, Medical Management Systems, KPI and Reporting Systems, CRM’s, Fuel Management Software, and Learning Management Software among other diverse projects. I drove new business, strategic partnerships, and provided business analysis for product development. In 2016: I was invited to present a software project for youth with intellectual disabilities titled “Finding the Path” for TEDx Talks. In 2018: I Co-Founded a non-profit organization called Qoder that encourages youth to advance their skills in coding and digital creativity. In 2019: I founded First Response Mental Health, an organization dedicated to mental health solutions for workplaces, agencies, and individuals. FRMH specializes in Proactive Peer Support and works alongside EMS, Police, Fire, Corrections, Military, and Hospitals among many other organizations that benefit from the Peer Support Model.
